The Majorcan company Omniaccess has made a strong commitment to the mobility of its employees and offers a fleet of 10 city bicycles for free to cycle to the workplace in ParcBit, in Palma de Mallorca.
Based in ParcBit and founded in 2001, this company wanted to take a step forward in reducing the environmental footprint of the daily mobility of its employees.
For this, it has concluded a sustainable rental service with a fleet of 10 city bicycles, so that its employees can cycle to the workplace.
This rental service is offered by Mobility by Cycling Friendly, which has also provided a booking engine so that Omniaccess employees can easily book their bicycle for commuting.
This initiative is among the pioneers in providing this type of service to workers in the Balearic Islands, giving the opportunity to make more sustainable journeys to the workplace and easy the connection to the metro station at the University of the Balearic Islands, a few minutes by bike from Parcbit.
Promoting the use of bicycles is one of MITMA's spearheads, highlighting its qualities as a sustainable, healthy and safe mode of transport that contributes to economic savings.
