Safe school routes are routes that are made for both male and female students on their commute to the education center so that they can get there more independently.
Restoring this mobility depends on many factors, but Mobility By Cycling Friendly aims to promote the values of environmental care and sustainable mobility through children.
Each road is a different world because they have different characteristics, so we study them carefully.
To make a safe way to school a success, we need the cooperation of schools, parents' associations, the local government and especially the protagonists, children.
Above all, at Mobility By Cycling Friendly, we are specialists in making bicycle buses that allow children to cycle to school in a safe way.
Our school mobility studies are based on the European STARS (Sustainable Travel Accreditation and Recognition for Schools) project, which aims to encourage and reward schools that promote sustainable and safe travel.
Among the goals of the STARS project are the following:
1. Increasing the number of children and young people who commute to school in a sustainable way, on foot or by bicycle.
2. Promote the autonomy of children in the city.
3. Promote youth involvement in public space.
4. Promote a healthy lifestyle and care for the environment.
